I couldn't believe this when I saw it.

Victor Yuchencko (can't spell his name) poisoned by the opposition! Those Russian Communists really don't want to give up power.

The above picture (left) was taken in July right before Yuchencko met with the Ukranian Security Service for dinner. Shortly thereafter Yushchenko started to feel sick and for the next 3 months suffered from the effects of dioxin. Crazzy stuff.

Since when is dioxin poisonous? It's in ben and jerry's icecream at more than 16times the federal limit. :freak:

ANd no one has gotten sick from it.

Oh, well then, how does one get exposed to that much? That is like injecting 100cc of pure dioxin straight into your blood. o_O

Possibly poisoned in a bowl of soup is what's thought now. Dioxin is found in many places, but the amout he got started to cause massive liver problems. The Doctor's said if there had been any more, it might have been fatal before he got treatment.

It can take up to 3 years for that weird facial change to wear off. I'm not condoning such tactics, but it's pretty clever way to poison someone. Either they die, or they are transformed into a bad looking guy. His face really does my him look kind of brutish and stupid, whereas before he looked kinda smooth and sophisticated . I know, you can't make personality judgment based on looks, but looks matter in politics. I wonder if the facial distortion thing was their whole plan or if they were flat out trying to kill him.
