Wow, next five years. How sad, ESPN NFL 2K5 was supposed to be better than Madden, looks like EA didn't like the fact someone made a better football game and sold it for $20!!

I'm starting to hate EA more and more...

All they are doing monopolizing the freakin market. *sigh* I really enjoyed the ESPN series while it lasted...:(

Wow thats just pure bullshit. I don't know who I'm more pissed at EA or the NFL for being such pricks.

I love the 2K series of games and thing the EA football games blow chunks. So I guess I'm out of all football games for a while then! Hopefully theres some sort of a loophole. Personally I would buy the Sega games even if they just made random teams and names maybe like ripoff the NFL just to piss em off like instead of Patriots call them The Minutemen and make spoofs on all the player's names.

Or even better bring back the Mutant League Football series. Pure gold baby. Let EA choke on their ......

Grrrrr Must not swear..

I hear they are aiming for MLB and NBA next.

They did it with the Nascar rights, killing the far better developer Papyrus.

Don't get me started on that...

Nascar 4 and Nascar season 2003 was killer in realism, graphics, and patches. Now with NASCAR thunder, there is nothing but unrealistic console games! It has to be the most arcady POS I have ever player before. They (EA) just aim for the general crowd and put out a subpar product.

Very disturbing news indeed, although the Midway Playmakers sounds kind of cool. If you are losing at haltime, go to the locker room and shoot your running back full of roids, but be careful, too much and he could blow out his heart.
