True Story:
I was talking to some co workers about Xmas time and people being PC, etc.. and one of them was telling us how her friends daughter was corrected at school by her teacher after the teacher overheard her talking about her "Christmas" tree. The teacher stopped the little girl and proceeded to correct her to call it a "Holiday" tree.

Puuuullleeease.. It's F'n Xmas for Christ's sake! This teacher needs to STFU. IMO.
Give me an F'n break! Religous or not, it is still Xmas. It is a national holiday... and the larger percentage of us celebrate xmas. It's fine to celebrate other religous holidays too but a xmas tree is a xmas tree, nothing else. They don't put up a tree in Hannukah or Kwannza, they light candles.. Do we call them "Holiday" candles?
I am done with all the PC yuppie bullsh**.

Did you know that 'Santa Claus' is in fact the Dutch 'Sinterklaas'?

Sorry, couldn't resist to say that.
Just to keep the thread alive :P
