This Friday a probe named "Huygens" (which detached itself form the Cassini spacecraft on December 24th) will "hopefully" land on Saturn's mysterious moon Titan. It's an exciting time for space buffs like me, and I hope all goes well! Especially considering the price tag for this mission (A joint venture between NASA and the European Space Agency)is 3.3 billion dollars!

I forgot to mention that January 3rd was the one year mark for the Mars rovers! These rovers were expected to only last 90 days on mars and instead have lasted well over 360 days with no signs of slowing down. This is possibly the most successfull mission for NASA since the moon landings of the 1970s!

If i could do 2 things involving space, i'd send Vern Troyer to the sun and i'd go to mars to be one of the first settlers. However since my qualifications dont match up to NASA standards, i dont see that as a posibility
