Political - Relgion Post

Postby Spirit of Me » Mon Jan 17, 2005 12:42 am

What's up with ECGN allowing Political and Religious post?
Isn't the policy not to allow these?

http://forums.powervs.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=13153&perpage=15&pagenumber=1

Now we even have admins posting on them.

I thought the reason for this was to prevent us from losing more of our community than we have.

We are from all around the world. Each with different morals and thoughts. Each should be allowed those rights but I fill this is not the place, and was told it wasn't going to be.

ECGN has changed, personally it's not the place I once enjoyed coming to for the love of the games.

why don't you just relax. that thread was light-hearted and nothing went overboard.

ECGN actually lost a large part of it's community due to the banning of political threads. there is no longer anything to engage posters. the boards have slowed significantly and most posts are pointless spam.

Ahhh... so it's begun. Iran is the next sovereign country to be invaded. They should convert to christianism now and get off the Axis of Evil list before it's too late.

Spirit of Me, don't take our shit! Defend your republican beliefs (if you dare :P ). What is so great about our country is that we can debate on such issues like this. :)

Well, MY post was light-hearted.
Anyway, I think it's less of a problem than all the Spam we've been getting lately.

I miss the politcal threads. I'd rather have flames than meaninless drivel. I you get offended by something that somebody, who you don't know and who lives on the other side of the world, says in jest then you probably need to get out more ;)
