Startrek Enterprise canceled
FINAL FRONTIER: UPN has pulled the plug on Star Trek: Enterprise. The network confirmed today that the struggling prequel series has run out of dilithium crystals and will end its four-year run on May 13 — to boldly go into syndication.

Can't say I'm surprised...Startrek became StarSuck after DeepSpace 9 finished up. and to add insult to injury, Enterprise was on UPN. no one watches UPN.
hopefully in a few years, we'll see a new trek series on another station that people actually watch. I'd like to see it on FOX again
"Star Trek has been an important part of UPN's history, and ENTERPRISE has carried on the tradition of its predecessors with great distinction," said Dawn Ostroff, President, Entertainment, UPN. "We'd like to thank Rick Berman, Brannon Braga and an incredibly talented cast for creating an engaging, new dimension to the Star Trek universe on UPN, and we look forward to working with them, and our partners at Paramount Network Television, on a send-off that salutes its contributions to The Network and satisfies its loyal viewers."
David Stapf, President of Paramount Network Television, said, "The creators, stars and crew of STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE ambitiously and proudly upheld the fine traditions of the STAR TREK franchise. We are grateful for their contributions to the legacy of TREK and commend them on completing nearly 100 exciting, dramatic and visually stunning episodes. All of us at Paramount warmly bid goodbye to ENTERPRISE, and we all look forward to a new chapter of this enduring franchise in the future."
This might be the highest concentration of adjectives ever observed in the wild, possibly exceeding lethal dose.
One must wonder, if the series was an important part of UPN's history, with great distinction, an incredibly talented cast, engaging, ambitious and proud, upholding fine traditions, exciting, dramatic and visually stunning, why it was still cancelled.

that above quote was just good PR. I think it had to do with costs- Enterprise was an expensive show to produce. I remember reading that the costs per episode were usually around 3 million dollars, sometimes jumping to 4. if you're paying that much money for a show that isn't pulling in numbers, it's not worth keeping.

I used to enjoy the show.
I stopped watching however when they put the Ferengi on an episode, when supposedly they were not encountered by us until they were met in that episode of 'The Next Generation'.

I saw the first 4-5 episoded of Enterprise, then kinda just never got around to seeing it ever again, but I did like the few episodes I saw.
Battlestar Galactica is outstanding! I DL'd the episodes because I couldn't wait to watch them (they aired in England before they aired here)

The only thing bad about Farscape is at times they seemed to run low on money, and this would lead to a string of shows that took place on planets that looked suspiciously like Australia.
