Let it snow!

Postby -HaVoC- » Tue Mar 01, 2005 1:37 pm

Hey as far as I'm concerned I like all 4 seasons. Hell I live in New England. If it's February then it better damn well look like it.

I agree. I live in New England also and like the snow.

But I am disapointed by this last storm.

The wife expected 10 inches last night and she only got 3!!!

(lets see where that statement takes us)

I hear you guys...we are getting 25 cms of snow today which is almost a foot for you non-metric smackers!

:)

Can't wait to get home and fire up the snow blower!

P.S. Tommy will just forget the line about Hunter's wife getting 7 fewer inches last night! LOL

I figure maybe I should just keep the snowblower in the livingroom. Then again I haven't seen anything get blown in the livingroom for years... :freak:

HaVoC -- I have had it with this winter buddy. This is too much. The good thing is that the 2 feet we got from that first storm melted before this new stuff. the forecasters really banged up this storm. We got half and the Cape got double what they said

Psssh.

move to NE Ohio, right under the lake. Lake Effect snow, all winter long. I keep reading all this crying over the snow in New England this year, and all I am thinking is it sound like about 1 weeks worth of Lake Effect snow.

Hell, my sister is now a teacher in Baltimore. If there is even a report that they might get an inch of snow they CLOSE THE SCHOOLS!!!! In the snow belt we do not even bother measuring an inch of snow! Kids go to school in well over 6 inches of snow here, roads cleared or not.

Snow keeps your beer cold, and if you smoke and have to do it outside, it gets you to hot box those cigs and gets you back to the hold'em game faster, where you know at least one friend is pissed (s)he had to wait.

Man i remember being a kid in Phillie. Lots of snow. Cant say i miss it much. Though this year i would trade 7 inches of snow for 8 inches of rain any day. U can throw snow and eat it. Except the yellow stuff.
