Win2k help duplicate logon

I need some help, I had this problem before and did a google search, found the answer and fixed it. Now months later problem happens again and I can't find the fix.


Windows 2000 pro

When I log in, instead of my desktop comming up it logs me in like it is the first time. Windows creates my username.computer name in the documents and settings folder. My old username directory is still there but it add a new one ie

c:doucuments and settings/larry
c:doucuments and settings/larry.computer

As I said I found the fix before, it said something about permission level changing is what caused windows to do it.
