This link will take you to the story of Sean Penn's attendance at Muslim prayers for the Death of America.

In other news, Chris Martin from Coldplay has visited Ghana in an attempt to spotlight unfair trade practices in poor African countries. And no, he didn't offer the country any of the profits from his new album. And his T-shirts are made in Chinese sweatshops.

Madonna is opening a hotel with a Kabalah theme. She's such a deep, spiritual woman. Hmm, I wonder if she'll also have copies of her sex book there...she's deep all right. I'll bet she could fit a football in there.

Tom Cruise is going all out with his scientology nonsense....when he isn't screwing his new kid...err girlfriend.

Rosie O'Donnell lost her mind on the View last week. I thought her dick was about to fall out of her shorts.

These are the more recent celebrities who are making a difference in the world. Yeah, when you can sing or pretend to be a character on screen you become an authority on all things.

North Korea says they can hit Hollywood with a nuke. Hmmmm.....maybe that's not as bad as it seems.

Celebrities are like most people; they only see enough of the truth to justify their warped view on life.

You know what I find humurous... most Hollywood actors do not have college degrees. I can only think of one or two that do have a degree. (Susan Serandon (sp.) and Dolf Lundgren (sp.)

It always struck me as funny that these actors think they know more about current events than people with advanced degrees who actually attend meetings, etc.

we should probably close this thread before it gets to political. :help:

Well, we can make fun them without bringing politics into it.
The thing about celebrities and musicians is they are surrounded by people who blow smoke up their ass all day long. Everyone tells them they are geniuses, one of kind etc. People seem to worship them, take their pictures and that kind of stuff just reinforces what all their ass-kissers are saying to them. So, at the end of the day, they start believing their own bullshit.
There are some really smart celebrities, but it's probably a pretty low percentage compared to the general population. Let's face it, the 'path to fame' usually doesn't involve college plus the real world experiences that most people get.
As for Sean Penn, I don't care if he goes to Iran. The more interesting thing is what he writes about when he comes back ( I guess he acting as a 'reporter' for some paper).
If he writes about what he sees, fine. If he takes what he sees and then slants it to some point of view, then screw him.
