Live 8 Pink Floyd reunites!

Postby JimmyTango » Sun Jul 03, 2005 3:26 pm

I don't know if anyone saw that Pink Floyd reunited for the first time in almost 25 years to perform in that Live 8 concert.

Does anyone have a video of their performance?

I managed to catch them doing Money, but I missed the rest. They were playing alot of it on VH1, but I'm not sure if they're repeating it or just going to sell a DVD or something.

Are you kidding? One of the greatest rock bands ever, and by far the best 'acid' rock band.

I have been waiting for another concert/tour, even without Roger Waters(many did not like the post-Water era, I find it to be a natural progression of the band).

Hell, even some of Syd Barrett's stuff is decent. Every era of FLoyd had some really awesome stuff.

I saw their performance.....not a pink floyd fan....didn't really think much of it. But if you're a bit torrent user....I noticed they have their entire performance in .avi format on torrentspy.com as well as other live 8 footage :)

Not a Crue fan, but The Who are awesome, same with Bowie in his prime years(starting with the album The Man Who Sold the World).

Also, yes th Doors kicked ass, can't wait for their entire catalog to be released on SACD, I hear they are remastering them from the original analog tapes.
