It's Time: THE NFL THREAD!
It's that time of year again, the NFL is gearing up.
1st most interesting topic:
WTF is wrong with Terrell Owens' brain? He has Hall of Fame talent but a Hall of Shame personality. I can't believe he would give sh*t to guy like McNabb. I'm a Pat's fan, but I have to admit, Donavan McNabb is a great player and an even greater person, he's a class act all the way. Imagine the career path of Owens, with all his talent, if he was a nice guy and professional, like McNabb. The way things are going in the league (and I'd like to think my Pat's are an influence on this) , teams are working on having value and chemistry over high paid superstars. Owens could find himself bounced out the league long before his career should be over, and it wouldn't surprise me if, at the rate he's going, he never get's considered for Hall of Fame. It may not matter to him now, but when he's a penniless has been, he'll regret the error of his ways. NFL careers are short, life (hopefully) is long. I'd would rather look back at my career if I'm Tedy Bruschi then Terrell Owens, and that is just plain sad.
2nd Topic:
Have the Pat's been hit with so many loses of key people that they gonna wind up having a sub-par season? I love the way the Pat's have bounced back from things in the past, but I'm definitely nervous about this season. Bruschi + both coordinators? Ouch.

Jet's shouldn't be in a bad position this year. If the Pat's suffer a drop off, who's that leave? Buffalo, I don't think they are a big threat. Miami is a wild card. Jet's are actually pretty solid. Of course, going all the way is tough propositon. The Colts are going to be a handful, the Steelers will be tough as well. And if you make it through all the AFC, I think the Eagles are a real solid bet to go back to the SB.
If I had to make a prediction, using my head and not my heart, its the Eagles vs Colts in the SB. As for who wins, flip a coin. If Manning and his receivers are 'on' the Colts will take it.

J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets!!!!!!!!!!! You are not alone Namloot.
The Jets are in great shape this year. If one foot and one sholder can hold up. ( Ty Law and Chad). And cavalierlwt is right. The Pats are on there way down. The Bills and Dolphins can't hold a stick to either the Jets or Pats. The AFC east is ours this year. The Bus is gonna breakdown starting this year. The Colts do scare me. I hope the Jets are home when they play them in the AFC championship game. Once the Jets get Abraham in camp all will be well. Looking foward to another fun season this year.
added:
O and if I hear one more thing about Owens I am gonna shoot myself. That prick. They spend all this time talking about him when they should be previewing the season. When the season starts I look foward to watching Sportscenter, NFL live and the NFL channle. Yet now all three just talk about that prick.

Well I'm a Cowboys fan, but I'm a little worried about this year. I think Parcells shows too much loyalty to his former players. I'm more excited about UT football. We're going all the way this year.
And Sn0w, how are you a Broncos fan living in Texas? Blasphemy.

LeVar, Dallas has possibly the most interesting season coming up, Bledsoe reunited with Parcells and Terry Glenn!
Does Bledsoe completely suck now, or does Parcells work his magic and revive him? Don't sell the Parcells effect short.
