Anyone catch the SFU finale?

Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

Anyone catch the SFU finale?

Postby cavalierlwt » Sun Aug 21, 2005 11:08 pm

Man, they managed to really end things on a down note. I hate to see the end of the series, even if I wasn't a huge fan, I did basically like the show. I know I'm gonna hate it when Sopranos ends. After seeing the SFU ending, I'm almost glad that Carnivale got yanked abruptly like it did, so it kinda 'lives on' in my mind.

Pretty bold and original. I didn't watch it for a season or so (third season) but the last two season were great. I'm sad to see it go.
Sopranos will be gone soon, that leaves Deadwood and Rome as the crime/action shows. Nothing really replacing SFU in that 'everyday life' category. Hopefully someone steps up with a new show.

One of the best series I've ever seen. I've watched every season from the beginning and the finale was great, couldn't have ended any better. I must admit that I got a little teary-eyed during the last 10 minutes of the finale. :violin::D

Yeah, the last ten minutes were depressing to me. I would have liked it better if they had just shown Claire driving off.
John Irving (the writer) does the same thing often, kills his main characters at the end, leaves me feeling a little down.
