Watched it as it unfolded. That was some impressive shit displayed by the pilot. I'll bet Airbus stock just went up after that. :)

I just watched this live on msn.com
it was crazy how the news anchors were like all excited something was going to happen. Idiots.

I watched it as it unfolded too. That was extrmely impressive. The pilot landed very safely, tires right in the middle of the runway. Just how they practice it for a situation like this. Larry King even said that the pilot seemed very relaxed as he was talking on his radio.

I'm impressed.

That was an awesome landing. Makes you wonder if pilots are really overpaid or not...

Ya, the news anchors were annoying as hell. You could almost see that they wanted a big fiery crash.

That was scary because my friend's father was on that flight.. And it was hard seeing her have to watch it all on TV, god forbid something happened and everyone saw...

Oh and you know the media was sitting there with their fingers crossed hoping it would explode on national television. Then it would give them something aside from the hurricanes to cover.

Hmm.. perhaps the media is behind all of this hurricane activity ;O

I remember, back in the day, you could sit in an airport and not watch potential crash landings...

I'll bet the bar sold a few extra drinks during the few hours that we were watching that... I know I bought a couple extra beers. The whole bar erupted with cheers when they landed.

The beers made it easier to get on my flight...

BTW. I read somewhere that the passengers on the flight actually saw footage on the in-flight entertainment....

Yah I heard on the news that the passengers were able to watch everything unfold while on the flight. I probably would have watched too..

Actually, they would have knocked me out unconscious because I'd be running up and down the aisles screaming. And I have to get on a plane again a week from now :'( Atleast it's not Jetblue.
