How happy would ECGN be if people somehow were able to steal bandwidth from you and run their own servers for free? Somehow, I think you might not exactly be too happy with it, and might just want to put a holt to it, huh?

I think to point evan was making is that like a lot of associations they are more concerned with their self than the artists they represent.

Exactly. Now I would buy CD's, if the cost of CD's wasn't overpriced. I'm sorry, but I can't justify paying $15-25 for a CD when I can get all the music I want for less than $10/month (yes I use certain pay-to-download/listen programs) for all my music. Plus with friends who have tons of music, I just get some from them.

I have used P2P before. Seems nothing is wrong with that, but if you hate P2P that is just your opinion so whatever.

I remember when cd's came out. Great new format better quality than records and tapes and cheaper to make I believe the quote was something like once this standard is more wide spread we should see the cost of albums come down.
