BATTLESTAR GALACTICA season finale

Postby CreepingCharlie » Fri Sep 23, 2005 10:26 pm

Only people who watch BS Galactica please.

Anyone watch the season finale of BS Galactica. I just wanted to see what your guy's thoughts were on it.

I just want to kill that new admiral B***h. Everytime I saw her, I'd yell DIE DIE DIE B***H at the T.V. I love this kind of drama.:D A very intense finale. Two Battlestars, and already a showdown.:ar15: Can't wait till January for Season 3:D

Another cliff-hanger! They sure know how to keep you salivating for the next season.

I had read they were going to bring in another battlestar, and that there would be some friction, but I'm surprised that it only took one episode. Then again, I suppose that makes more sense from a storytelling perspective then having to build up the tension over several episodes.

I'm curious to see how they flesh out the admiral's character. Battlestar isn't one for shallow characters, so I'm expecting some good explainations for her b***hiness.

I was actually screaming and cheering at my television when Adama sent the Raptor full of marines with a full Viper escort to go and retrieve his men. It was so decisive and badass!
My prediction is he goes to the President, and has that wench's ass demoted to ship's cook, if nothing else based on the legend of her shooting one of her ship's officers. Push comes to shove, the President has the power over the military.
I really wish the Sci-Fi channel would order 20-24 episodes per season.
I love this show, I didn't know if anyone else on this board watched it!

i used to watch the original series... but haven't really been watching this one since the mini made for tv movie, series premier. Is it that good? Is this the first season? I should set up my DVR for it.

2nd season just ended. 1st season is out on DVD. Yeah, it's worth watching, it's nothing like the original series. The best way to describe it is it's pretty heavy, not so lighthearted as the original series.

It'd be hard to break into the middle of the story without having someone catch you up to speed. There's a lot going on.

If you're up for it, I'd start by finding someone who bought the first season DVDs, then you'll be able to watch the second season in reruns between now and January if you get into it.

Great show. The cliffhanger nearly killed my wife. It was very anxiety provoking.
