Man, I used to play paintball way back in the day (1989 - 1995). Even had a sponsorship back then with a now-defunct paint company called California Magnum. I quit when they outlawed camoflage and red paint, told me my black Tippmann 68 Special was bad, and started making everyone play with giant inflateable toys.

Now I do hardcore airsoft military simulation:

Yeah. My team owns the Deuce, but we rented the chopper for helo insertions. Most of my boys are current or ex-military.

More pics here, and in the root directories.

Camo isn't outlawed. Red paint is not allowed because it stains everything. Tippmann 68 Special's are a collectors item for paintball now. People don't dis them.

i only get to play when i go to see my dad and the gun i used looked like the USMC spec-ops gun and one thing that hurts is when 10 year old bracks the 20 yard rule and shuts you 6 times in the back of the head and on your teem!!!!!

I was hoping you had something better than a team full of Custom Pro tippmann 98's.

I played a tittle of paintball back when i had the money for it.

Don't make fun of Tippmanns. I still use my 98 Custom (not even Custom Pro) and I trade speed for accuracy and the ability to beat the shit out of that gun and it will keep working. Plus I can hit about 9 or 10bps with a standard double trigger WITHOUT any type of trigger mods or anything to increase of ROF.

I used to play every weekend. I had an automag back when they were the shit. I would only play woodball though. I never understood how anyone could think that speedball or whatever you call playing behind those inflatable things is better than woodball. I know its easier to film, but it's nowhere near as fun sneaking through the woods.

I agree. Woodland is the best. Just recently bought a Tippmann A-5 to upgrade from my 98 custom

I like city/speedball myself. Woods is just too much of a pain at times.. Got bitten by a copperhead one time while playing in the woods...

No fun whatsoever..

I havent played in a while though, old age getting to me (33yo). When I did play I used a tricked cocker. Still have it hanging on a wall.

yeah that speedball looks like it would hurt as you are pretty close together....

I havent played since the kids arrived but before that i played woodball. My fav thing to do was go on my own about halfway between the bases then hide and wait. Sure some games you went 20 mins and saw nothing but sometimes you would get 3 or 4 kills and they are sweet kills as the person you are shooting has no idea you were there, if you can find a good hiding spot.

Once for fun I did the sneak up behind and touch him with your gun, the place I played if you touch em with the gun he's dead.
