Call of Duty 2

Anyone playing it? Is it any good? Single, Multiplayer opinions?

I just picked it up and I love it. The Single player is a lot like the first one, the graphics are really good.

I am in absolute LOVE with the multiplayer. Its amazing. I recommend it.

Is there vehicles to use in it? Multiplayer wise?

I've only been playing it since yesterday, but so far no vehicles. From what I understand in UO (united offense) there are vehicles and I heard they're looking into an eventual expansion for CoD2 that will enable vehicles as well.

The MP maps for CoD2 are awesome. They've retained a few of the MP maps from CoD1 but have revamped them with extra rooms, extra detail, etc to the point where you can recognize them but it looks WAY better.

My poor graphics card can barely handle it, but I love it

Wonka said the multi is not good because there is no punkbuster. Lots of people hacking. If you are in to hacking then I guess it could be fun.

Er...not into hacking... but anyway...

I dont know what they were thinking not putting punkbuster on there. Hopefully they will do something with a patch or something... not sure how that works.

In the meantime I guess you just stick to the server you know. Thats what I've been doing, there are some good admins and there's killcam and whatnot so its easy to spot whats legit and what isn't.

OGL ladders are requiering that all match participants record their game & exchange videos following matches..
No hacking in OGL matches...
Go to http://www.predatorsalliance.com if you want to sign up on a COD2 team that will play in OGL's 6 vs. 6 TDM ladder.

Love it.... ow, my screen name is also in CoD2, Sergant John Davis... could not get enough of that the first time i played.

Good mission layout/ selection. Looks the best D-day and the very last american mission.

Yes, you do need the graphics card. Having a x8xt, 360's card, or equal to it, its looks good, neck and neck, if not worse or better, than one of the 360 launch titles.

Not alot of viehicles, CoD has never been famous for the tanks/ jeeps. For a few missions there are using them "tanks" Wish they could have done aliitle more major tank battles.

AS it being they tryed to be acurate, along with fun, they did that.

Couple funny parts into the end of this game, if your playing sloppy, the AI will bitch/ bark at you for being a shity shooter.

Good game... down side, got the cd version, 6 CD's for this game, get the DvD version if you can you cheap bastards.

JERRY'S!!!! Had to do it one more time, play it and you'll get it....lol.

i have to get this game!! friend told me it is badazz..as far as no punkbuster goes,just sitck with good server you know as siren said.
also ubi is coming out with a new ghost recon for pc in feb,that should be good multi-player game too cant wait always like the ghost recon games.

Actually, i was talking to someone today about the PB issue...and apparently their attitude initially was that CoD2 would be "hackproof" ( :rotflmao:

). I guess there is an official word that they ARE coming out with a patch that will have punkbuster.

I dunno about multiplayer (haven't tried it) but single player is a blast. Yes it plays just like the original CoD, but on a larger scale. The German AI in this game is vicious. On harden difficulty these fuckers will pin you down with fire while groups of 2-3 will attempt to flank you from another position. They also throw grenades like its no tomorrow.
