Nice post. Some of those graphics look amazingly good.

Have you folks seen the promos for Spore? It's a pretty original looking game, even if the graphics aren't the best in that screen shot. Lots and lots of the other games there look suspiciously exactly like current games, but with better graphics.

Check out the intro on the Spore homepage...

I counted 13 games I'd be interested in. 2005 sucked... 2006 looks to be a golden year for games.

They don't have much to say about spore, but it sounds neat... take a species from single-cell to galactic conquest. Sid Meier really has a God complex.

Lots of big games.

What I like is the adventure genre seems to be getting a big boost. I hear 80 days is an amazing game. I want to pick it up, but no stores near me have it in.

Hopefully see duke nuken forever next year, i think we WILL have the tech to handle it, will all the bells and whisltes maxed out with summers/ fall hardware.

Looking most forward to

Rise of legends
Prey
Supreme commander
Another c&c, which is in development, taken place in the red alert universe "hopefully red alert 3"
Gears of war
HL2 aftermath
Stalker

... and all the ones i forgot.

Gonna look forward to the unreal 3 ungine, and the physX graphics add in, which will benafit from ALL unreal 3 engine games.

If its for damn sure, this time next year, it will be VERY VERY differant hardware wise.

Good luck running these games with any current hardware right now.

Edit, huxley mmofps, looking forward as sto how they do this, never touched any mmo's, but will give this one a try.
