Strange trend if you look at the feedback. Looks like he was a legit seller up until the last month.
Maybe he was selling stuff that he thought he would be getting with a shipment or something and that shipment never came. Instead of paying back all the money, he packed up and moved.
Or.. All the positive bids/auctions were fake to build up to his xmas scam.

Happened to me last year. The seller had hundreds of positive feedbacks dating back 2 years. I bought a $600 item that was never sent. Negative feedbacks piled up during the last month. Turned out the selling couple broke up and the guy went away, woman was left with the mess.

You never know with ebay...I just hate it when you order something and it takes them darn near 2 monthes for it to arive, or longer. But Ebay does offer verry good deals, like on some shoes...Like say Nike Shox, you can get really good quality shoes for less money than at the normal retailers like Fininshline and Footlocker, etc. But then you have to take the chance of them be fony or not being the right size or them being used...
So you ended up losing $600?!?!?Originally posted by Chacal

thats why you always use paypal with credit card then you are covered....
that's why his auctions all said no paypal, he knew what he/she was doing. Build up all your positive feedback, then sell 50 fake ipods at 3-400 a pop right before xmas and move away fast.

Paypal doesn't protect you from shit. If the sellers account has no money in it, then paypal can not get the money back for you.
Paypal does nothing but double the fees a credit card transaction company would charge and piles it on the seller, all so that way the buyer gets a hard on over the 'great safety paypal provides.'

Yup. I traced her to some little town in WA, think she lives in a trailer but there's no use going after someone who has no money.
I kept looking for the same item, most auctions were put up by US residents who wouldn't ship outside the US. What morons.
I then won an different auction, and the guy said he would ship USPS to canada within 4 days. So I said give me a tracking number within 4 days and he bailed out of the transaction, saying he didn't ship to canada after all. I left negative feedback and he did the same to me as retaliation. I vowed never to buy from anyone in the US again.
The I finally got 2 items from 2 guys in Australia, worked like a charm, fast and efficient service, and they actually knew there were other countries out there.

You didn't hear about that embargo we have on Can-of-duh?
We use ebay to sell off overstock/discontinued items.
I don't ship to Canada. It is annoying.
First, they have shitty taxes and duties to be paid to get it accross the border and FedEx/ UPS both charge a $40.00 'brokerage' fee just to go from FedEx/UPS America to FedEx/UPS Canada. You all of a sudden get negative feedback for 'hidden fees' that I in no way benefit from and they already knew about.
Second, Canadians bitch about wanting the declared value lowered so they do not have to pay as much in taxes/duties. Of course, something breaks or is lost, they want a full refund, not the insurance value THEY THEMSELVES ASKED FOR.
Third is tracking. They all want it shipped as cheap as possible via the post office(no brokerage fee). Unless you pay for(I think) GlobalExpress THERE IS NO TRACKING. Guess what happens if there is no tracking: charge back on their paypal account claiming they never received it.
It is too much of a hassle to deal with and ends up costs the seller more money and time than it should.
Before any Canadians get their panties in a bunch: my grandfather is Canadian and I used to spend my summers in Georgian Bay at my Grandparents cottage, fishing, swiming boating and hiking. Beautiful area. They were close to Snug Harbor(had to take a boat to get to their cabin, not roads to it). I have spent more than enough time driving on that shitty QEW.
