Think this will happen?
Sony gaming is so confident about the world of gaming and the way it evolves
that they are allready advertising playstation 9, which will be released in 2078.
You dont play the games anymore, they play you.
It has a mind controller, you live the game.

Would certainly make for some pretty interesting FPS games. Would something like this happen by 2078? I doubt anything quite like what the commercial shows will happen by then, but who knows.
Just looking at the 20th century... we went from being completely gravity bound, to learning to fly, to travelling into space and the moon inside of a mere 66 years (1903 Wright Flyer, 1969 lunar landing).
BTW that commercial actually aired sometime when the PS2 first came out a few years ago (2000? 2001? Can't remember now).

I remember this commercial. I don't think I will ever buy another Playstation. My PS2 has been collecting dust for some time now.

It's amazing how war can accelerate innovation.
