Yep, Lost is so good I don't know how it got on TV, I really don't. Normally Network TV is very oppossed to serials, especially one like Lost where you absolutely have to watch each episode to know what's going on, to catch all the clues. In addition, there is a Lost websight that is updated concurrent to the show. They really need to make a UK version. Each week they unlock something new on the webpage, They have a webpage for the Airline that went down in Lost, they even have a 'DriveShaft' webpage paying tribute to Charlie. Add in 'The Fusilage' official Lost forum where everyone together catches all the weird clues and coincidences (and there is millions of them, nothing is chance)
It all adds up to viewers that are dilligent. Not what Network TV looks for, they like stupid 'on off' shows where there usually isn't a big over-arching storyline.
Even though Lost is made by ABC, I understand FOX has already bought future rights to the repeats, so they can cancel the show!

LOL, I was spot on when I said it was a wonder that show got made at all. Apparently the exec who greenlighted the show got fired for it by Disney.
Here's a little snippet:
Iger and Eisner Would Have Lost 'Lost'
According to the upcoming DisneyWar book by James Stewart, both Disney CEO Michael Eisner and President Robert Iger were dubious that the series Lost, which had been championed by ABC Entertainment Television Group Chairman Lloyd Braun, would draw an audience.
Iger originally called the series "a waste of time," adding, "It might work as a miniseries, but not as a series." According to the book, Braun defied Iger's "clear invitation" to kill it.
Later Eisner asked Braun, "What have you picked up?" When he described Lost, Eisner reportedly frowned, then said, "That's never going to work."
Even after its successful premiere (and after Braun had been fired), Lost continued to be damned by Eisner, who told Stewart, "Lost is terrible ... The pilot was two hours; it was broken into two one-hour episodes. Then the show goes off a cliff. There's no more plane crash! Who cares about these people on a desert island?"
Man, what jackasses. I hope the boardmembers of Disney learn about this, realize that their top leadership is incompetent and fire them. BTW, these are the same geniuses that told Pixar (Toy Story, A Bug's Life, Monsters Inc, Finding Nemo etc) to go f*** themselves, ended their partnership.

Yeah telling pixar to go fish was uberdumb considering the only succesful disney films of recent years (Pirates of the Caribbean excepted) were the Disney/Pixar productions.
