I didn't want this to get lost in the shuffle in the BF section of these forums (in the Jobs thread there), so I thought I'd re-post it in the Smokin' Room for everyone else to see.
This is a list of statistics garnered from various polls and questionaires that the ESA (Entertainment Software Association) compiled for 2005. Pretty interesting stuff in there:

That was interesting. A number of stereotypes about gamers are discounted by those statistics.
