Half Life 2 vs Far Cry

Ok , I just finished Halo 2 for the XBox and am ready to make another purchase. I think I have narrowed it down to either Half Life 2 and the newest Far Cry game. They have both recieved good reviews.
Which one do you guys suggest? I don't want to buy both because I can only handle one game at a time.

Depends, if you've already played hl2 for the PC, dont bother with it on the xbox. If you havent played the pc version, then its worth trying. Farcry is supposed to be good too, but Ive only played the pc version, and Id highly reccomend that.
