Wash [as Allosaurus]: I think we should call it "your grave"!
Wash [as Stegosaurus]: Ahh! Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!
Wash [as Allosaurus]: Har har har! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die!

This happened a few days ago. Some Arab-looking UCLA student refused to show ID to campus security, who called police. He refused to obey. In the US you must obey The Law otherwise you get Punished.

Nah that's bullshit. They weren't tazing him becasuse he was resisting arrest. He was already under arrest. They were tazing him beacasue it was easier than dragging him and that's just plain fucking unnecessary...
I fully support their right to use a tazer in self defence but using a tazer just becasue someone doesn't want to walk to the police car when they are quite capable of taking an arm each and dragging him is not self defence...

I guess i support the tazer, but yeah they had enough cops there i think they could have just dragged him or carried him out. Did you hear in the last 20 seconds or so the one cop threatened the one guy he would tazer him? lol

Yep, I agree. Lord knows, I love a good tasering, but only when it avoids a wrestling match. If the the kid was fighting, as in trying to hit the cops, then tasering would be fine. Those were cops used to dealing with non-violent protesters, which means hauling away a person who acts like a 'rag doll'. No danger there, no reason to taser.

Ok so it would have been ok to taze ghandi and his boys then...
Passive to resistance to a law you consider to be unjust is a old method of protest and it doesn't warrant this kind of violence in response.
There were plenty of way to deal with this that didn't involve making the kid suffer; I don't see that they fully explored even one of them before they decided to bring the noise...

Well, what if they tried ti drag him out and accidentally broke an arm. Which is better.
The guy wanted to be an ass from the point campus security asked him to show some id.

From a news site:
Greenstein said a Community Service Officer employed by the library was performing a nightly check to ensure that all patrons using the library after 11 p.m. were authorized to be there.
"This is a longstanding library policy to ensure the safety of students during the late-night hours," Greenstein said. "The CSO made an announcement that he would be checking for university identification. When a person, who was later identified as ... Tabatabainejad, refused to provide any identification, the CSO told him that if he refused to do so, he would have to leave the library.
"Since, after repeated requests, he would neither leave nor show identification, the CSO notified UCPD officers, who responded and asked Tabatabainejad to leave the premises multiple times. He continued to refuse. As the officers attempted to escort him out, he went limp and continued to refuse to cooperate with officers or leave the building.

LoL Accidentaly break and arm. Yeah because that would be so easy. He's exponentially more likely to get an injury falling while being tazed. I mean seriously that could be the worst argument I have ever heard. No offence
Also exactly how many people do you think the CSO asked before he asked the arab looking gentleman?
I'm betting on less than 5 and maybe even none.
Come on I was a student and theoretically I was supposed to carry my ID with me at all times on campus. In reality I never bothered as I knew my number anyway and I bet that's the same for 90 percent of students. If it's the policy to check ids then why not check everyone's id's at the door. That would be the logical thing to do surely.
This has excuse written all over it.
