i just installed the latest drivers for my radeon 9600pro and now neither BF2 or m2:tw will work. if anyone ran into a similar problem and found a solution other than rolling back to the old drivers please let me know.

I got rid of my ati, but did you clear out your bf2 folder in your My Documents? That's a good place to start...
