need help...again

i posted earlier about this but just didnt figure it out...

i have a dell 3200mp projector which i want to use to project tv. what do i have to do to accompish this? svideo cord straight to the tv didnt do anything...do i need to have a dvd player or something? im so lost its not even funny

Ok, look at your cable box. It will have some form of video out on it. It probably has an coxial cable (screw on) connector, and/or an RCA style (usually colored yellow), and/or an S-Video output. Choose one of the above, and run the appropriate cable from the VIDEO OUT on the cable box to the matching VIDEO IN connector on your projector. Of the three mentioned above, S-Video would give the best picture quality.

Voila.

I'm not sure why you're hooking the projector up to the TV. That doesn't make sense.

lol ghetto big screen tv...100 inches! i found out my problem, the small lcd tv i had didnt have a video out, and i dont have a cable box...but i suppose i could get some cheap dvd player and do something similar to what you said. thanks!
