all seeing eye replacement

Sun Oct 26, 2008 8:56 pm

i had to rebuild my machine and i didn't realize that all seeing eye is no longer supported/downloadable. can anyone suggest a good alternative? i want something that can connect to a bf42 server automatically when a slot opens up. i'd rather not have to sit in front of the computer refreshing constantly.

Res, its been years since I used it but you might should look into using
Gamespy Arcade http://www.gamespyarcade.com/

features http://www.gamespyarcade.com/features/

Battlefield 1942 seems to be covered http://www.gamespyarcade.com/games/

and it has the server busy redial feature http://www.gamespyarcade.com/support/help/redial.shtml

QTracker is the closest thing...and surpasses ASE in many aspects...and it's free.

qtracker seems to work well except for one major problem -

when i use it to connect to a bf server, it loads up the game and puts me at the OK screen but the focus is not on the bf window. i have to alt-tab blindly until bf gets focus so i can play. is there a workaround?

I would check the forums on their site...

I don't know much about how the BF game launches. Maybe make sure the auto-login settings in qtracker are correct...
