The Foucault's Pendulum exhibit located in the stairwell was damaged

I believe the Foucault's Pendulum exhibit is the real casualty here. :(

It's sad, but if you think about it, we've all done something stupid like that....difference is, we lived to tell about it.

Yeah, I hardly think this is some sort of case of Darwinism. Everyone and their grandmother has slid down a banister or handrail at one point in their lives. The fact that she fell was just random chance.

....... and if you've never slid down a banister in your while life, THEN THE TERRORISTS HAVE ALREADY WON!

I have.... I'm just not stupid enough to attempt to slide down a banister thats more than 25ft off the ground.

So in my opinion this is a perfect example of Darwinism at work.

And one with a giant, HEAVY Focault pendulum hanging at the bottom of it . . . I don't even want to imagine what that thing did to her!

I'm more worried about what she did to damage the pendulum.

A darwin award is for the guy who took off the protective pad on a ski lift pole as a prank, and then later skiied down the hill and hit that unprotected pole, removing his polluted DNA from the gene pool.

I don't think this qualifies... sure it was stupid, but not nearly in the league of some of the award winners I have read about...

"A sad case of Darwinism" that is something I used to think about sometime ago. "Why the hell am I still here?.
After jumping out the cradle as a child, crashed against a car with my bike, and a car drove over me, I´m here yet!!!
:D

That case is something not to be thought too much time, just happened because of the childish mind of that girl and how she falls down... in this case the head was the first part of the body to reach the ground I suppose, nobody dies after smashing the ass into the floor

. . . or the hundred-plus pound pendulum got to her after she fell . . .
