Nascar 2003..

I have found it hard to believe that such a game could ever get better each year, but EA Sports pulls it off each release..

Sweeeet graphics and racing feel.. but it would be very benificial to have the wheel and pedals...

I thought the Nascar series was by Sierra, not EA.

hmm...im a nascar fan, and if i remember right, sierra makes the nascar racing games (Nascar racing 4) and ea makes the year numbers, and thunders :D i personally like nascar thunder, but for multiplayer, nascar 2003.

my mistake..

....and be sure to keep a lookout for Project Gotham 2 for Xbox if you are a console gamer...

Agreed. Up until now, there has been Gran Turismo 3 and then everything else. Getting 100% on that game is a true feat of determination...

I mean come on, ASSCAR racing?!? Yeah, let's run around in circles for 3 hours... everybody having fun yet? :freak:

i might as well be saying that football players are a bunch of panzies, since im into nascar, i might as well say hocky is for panzies, since im into nascar, might as well say baseball is a bunch of gay fags that hit a ball...no, i show some respect for other sports i dont care about..

.....dont say that to a guy like me man, to u it may be people doing gay circles, but in truth, they are more physically fit than most football players. think of every turn u take putting 3-5 g's on ur body....dont forget road corses:

my brother is currently 67 percent done (he was 91 percent until we lost the card it when we moved here) in one week, he spent over 80 hours of play time...and he has a job, and talks to his gf 2-3 hours a night...i dont see how he does it.

btw, what seperates nascar from football, golf, soccer, and baseball? they only take one ball to play

Don't misunderstand me, Cow... I know that ANY race car driver undergoes stresses not unlike a fighter pilot and must be in good shape... I can respect that... it's just that it sucks to watch!

Whether it's a game or the real thing, NASCAR just doesn't do it for me...

My problems with NASCAR include:

99% of races are ovals, most boring kind of track...

All cars look almost identical except for ads on the cars...

Cars use 60's era technology to keep costs (and my interest) down...

Speeds don't get much faster than 180MPH (CART or F1 or Lemans racers can easily top 220MPH)...

Racing I like includes Superbike racing, Lemans type racing, F1, touring cars, Air racing (the fastest sport on earth)... Superbikes are especially fun to watch, 190hp and 195 MPH on A MOTORCYCLE(!) absolutely nuts...

But hey, if you like NASCAR, go ahead and keep liking it :D

But I don't have to... The best sport is still the NFL :D

Looking in my archive of old games i have Nascar 2000 and its made by EA... i have personally never seen a sierra nascar game, only heard of them

Only thing i like doing in nascar games is either going backwards to crash into the leader:lol: or getting to a large pack of cars and causing a huge crash, other than that they are boring as shit
I mean cmon even when i go backwards and hit the leader head on my car is still drivable??? wtf, although really slow.

Only thing nascar is good for is betting, usually the same person wins the whole friggin month, i know, i used to watch nascar until i got some sense to do better things

Sports Car GT was the best all around racing game for the PC - and probably did the best job recreating the excitement and variability of the Grand Tourismo series but with more realism.

It's a little outdated now but it's still my favorite. You can probably pick it up for $9.95 somewhere too.

Grand Prix Legends is probably the best simulation racing game ever made. Frustrating as hell, but definitely the most realistic.
