What was the best 80's film?

Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

Just joking...

I think it would either be Commando, Running Man, or Total Recall...

I bet you can't tell which actor is in all of those :) :P

I just watched Blade Runner again, it it does hold up well. I have to say, however, that the best 80s movie is probably Empire Strikes Back or Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Damnit, that's what I was going to say. Oh well, I'll throw in "Fast Times at Ridgemont High".

Caddyshack
Stripes
Batman
Beverly Hills Cop
48 hrs
Lethal Weapon
The Road Warrior
Evil Dead 2
Big Trouble in Little China (You know what old Jack Burton says at a time like this?)
Full Metal Jacket
Platoon

Good ones (and faves) that haven't been mentioned...

As far as decades for movies go, I don't think the 80s quite live up to the 70s for quality movies...

Schwarzenegger!!, was Conan released in the 80´s??
since it is his best movie with his awesome script:
What´s your name warrior?
grrrrrr!.
where do you come from?
grrrrr!
Do you live near here?
Aghrrr!, Grrrr!
awesome :D

no seriously I think that blade runner is a great Movie.
though this thread seems a bit stupid regarding the other thread about the best movie ever made.
I think someone has no discernible life and got boring all the time.:D
