Residential VOIP

Well, looks like i've talked my family into getting VOIP instead of our land based phoneline.
Anyone have any experience on this? Ive been looking into it for sometime now, and have found Packet 8 who seems to be a good company. Ive googled em, and all looks well. FOr 20 bucks a month for unlimited local / long distance, doesnt look like you can go wrong..
