Back to the old days: Steel Panthers

Postby Sidekick Floppy » Thu Jan 15, 2004 6:16 pm

I'm curious how many of you remember this game. Probably the BF community will know it for sure. It is a tactical wargaming classic, a turn based strategy game of WWII. All the vehicles of that period are represented in the game with realistic armor and ballistics. It's not in 3D, but despite this it is as real as a strategy game can get. Anyway,I just recently found a website where you can download the most current version for free! The first release of Steel Panthers, back in the days, was a DOS based game, but the one of the website will run on Win98/ME/200/XP and even Linux.
