The funny thing is, the Microsoft company pre-dates this kid. If he's 17, he was born in 1986/1987, several years after the founding of Microsoft.

Still, I can't believe they offered him ten bucks. Too funny.

that's funny this is making the news, becuase another messageboard I post a lot at (rage3d.com/board) was where this kid posted when he first got the letter. he was asking people there what to do because he had no idea what course of action he was suppose to follow :lol:

I had always heard that buying and selling domain names was a hot business. 10 bucks is pretty insulting. I would have asked for a lot more than that for MY name. Except Smithsoft just doesn't have the same ring. hahahah.
