I have to say I LOVE movies about the undead, the trailer looks kinda cool, but seems to me those zombies move to damn fast for busted up rotting fleshy bodies..anyway I'd most likely go see it

Yeah, but going by the trailer, it looks like there are some major variations. I'll have to see the movie to gauge how closely they stuck to the original, but it looks like it has the potential of being a cool movie regardless. Anybody know who directed it?
I hope it is good. I like the zombie flick genre but so many suck. I thought Resident Evil was entertaining, 28 Days Later was good. I own both on DVD. I watched the original DotD a few months ago. I forgot just how bad the music was. It reminded me of the music in cheap porn movies.
As an undergraduate student many years ago, I played an RPG that was set in a Dawn of the Dead scenario on Manhattan Island. We had a great time with that game all semester.
