That's a horrible coding mistake. If someone knew what they were doing, theoretically, they could force your computer to run a piece of code (hexidecimal) that wasn't even on your computer to begin with (if I understand this correctly) through using certain certification procedures. That is totally evil, and way too easy to do. All for a stupid coding oversight.. an oversight that could cause other problems such as memory leaks (recycling of memory of invalid size) and other hangs and crashes. Bah.
