Wow, nobody likes the present. That says something right there. I like the present - the technology is incredible. The music blows (but it always has), the television is better than ever, the movies are okay, but the effects are nuts.

First, there were BBS's. Then, there were MUD's. Then, there was LineWars. Then there was Duke Nukem, followed by a successive string of on-line multiplayer games until we arrived here at BF1942 - where I am happiest.

So, the present is my favorite era.
