Postby Jeffro » Sun Feb 29, 2004 3:57 pm

I was wondering if any of YOU have done this...

Is it worthwhile because i am considering doing this...

also could you provide links to info about this...

I cannot seem to find info on it on search engines :(

I've looked into it - they happen very infrequently, and most of them ban any sort of authentic nazi uniforms... so it's obvious that they could care less about historical accuracy.

Not to mention, all the eq you'd have to buy would run into the $1,000's.

I've seen it at my town once or twice on Memorial Day, and it is pretty neat...

They have transport trucks, kubelwagens, jeeps, and even one tank!

All use blanks of course

And the uniforms looked authentic (except for the lack of the swastika).

I've done a bit of research into this and I have a friend that does it for WW1 (german) and WW2 (british). On the east coast it seems pretty organized, and authentic. I can try to answer some questions but I may not be able to help much as far as the midwest goes. I can say that it will cost $1,000+ to get equiped. And they don't use airsoft, at least on the east coast =)
