(the article is dated 1999 but new improvements for the procedure were just aired on TV and it's working extremey well)
apparantly it works better than chemotherapy, and has no side effects. It works with fluorescent fluid and lasers to target cancer cells and kill them. It allows patients to be treated for brain cancer without having to have brain surgery!
It works on other types of cancers throughout the body, and has none of the side effects that chemotherapy does. There are already 5 hospitals 'testing' the new procedure, and the results are very very good
it's not a cure by any means, but I think it's a huge breakthrough in the treatment of cancer, and quite an accomplishment.
