What to do?

Got a dilemma on my hands:

I currently have a P4 3.0C 800FSB

I recently came upon a P4 2.8E 800FSB Prescott

Should I keep my C or put the E in my main gaming rig?

keep the 3. The prescott's have yet to show themselves as a worthy upgrade to the P4c's. Also, the E on that proc does NOT mean it's an extreme edition p4, it's a common mistake with the new prescott numbers.

I am aware its not an extreme edition, those are marked EE.

Here is what is on the die:

2.80GHZ/1M/800

Its a Prescott with 1MB L2 cache and 16k L1 cache ( double the Cs ). Besides that, its the same as a C.

So you guys think I should keep the 3.0ghz even though im really only losing 200mhz and gaining double the L1 and L2 cache?
