Postby Jeffro » Fri Apr 09, 2004 10:50 am

Ok here is a screeny of my problem...

Everytime i click on "open a new window" a get a small box instead of a somewhat full screen..

This started happening a couple days ago and I really do not feel like reinstalling IE..

Thank you...

Switch to Firefox. Firefox > IE.

Someone resized the un-maximized widnow and didn't resize it. Just resize it and it will stay that way the next time you open it. What's the big deal, anyway? Just maximize it, :tard: :P

Jeffro, what Dakana said should work. That happens when you close a window after you've changed the size without maximizing it again.

FireFox is nice because it's very compact - I don't think they are many registry things, and it's a simple ZIP folder - no installer or anything. Also, the extensions are very nice, but even without them it rocks.

I found a link and fixed the problem like this...:)

Open the link in the new window...then CLOSE the first window...

then resize and shutdown IE...

Worked like a gem...:)

Just DL Mozilla. Firefox is a stripped down version of Mozilla. Firefox primary is for web page browsing. Get the Mozilla browser. So far no problems. IE is buggy and a doorway for hacks.

Netscape 7.1
Don't completely uninstall IE as some websites/applications require it.

They don't call it Epxloder for nothing.

They call it Epxloder? :P Exploder, :tard:

Anway... I downloaded Netscape and full Mozilla a bit ago, but I still like FireFox the best. I also use Thunderbird for my mail.

Actually, Mozilla and Firefox are different. Architecturally, Firefox lacks all of the hooks for the bloat stuff that Mozilla comes with.
