Jesus, it's like he took it right out of the book. Almost verbatim!!! Scary how someone can duplicate (almost exactly) what they did, and get away with it! Most of this stuff happened 5 or 6 years ago!

Take "Enter your custom text here" out of your sig. :D

He wont be the next Hitler because it would be the UN versus him..and this is how it goes...

Chavez fought the law, and the law won.

A scenario like WWII (and I'm specifically talking about the conflict) will most likely not ever occur again because of the advent of nuclear weapons. However, I am still absolutely shocked that almost EXACTLY what happened in Nazi Germany just happened again in Venezuela.

That was a disturbing reading, of something I've heard nothing about. We(U.S.) should've gotten invloved with this, not Iraq.......

There's lots of things we should have gotten involved in... that, Rwanda, (currently) Sudan...

which makes me wonder - the OIC (Organization of Islamic Countries) had an 'emergency' meeting to discuss the situation in Iraq, but there's ethnic cleansing of muslims occuring in Sudan, and that wasn't even discussed? Also, this is another prime example of the UN dragging their feet during a situation of ethnic cleansing. Dispicable.

Er? you did mean UN didn't you? Kind of like how the League of Nations worked against Hitler?

Reading my little thread the about who made money off of Iraq oil I am short of faith in the UN. And I had very little to begin with.

The U.N. has no power and is worthless in my opinion.

Your right but it's funny how they retained enough power to line their pockets with millions and to influence World opinion for a decade while they did it.

This one is going to be fun to watch.

Not exactly the same why, Hitler brainwashed everyone in Germany, But it seems like the people in Venesuala are really ticked at him. Sooner or late They'll get ticked enough and he'll loose.

The U.S. got slammed last time around for allegedly supporting the coup against Chavez a few years ago. Don't kid yourselves: the power of anit-Americanism trumps most European, Canadian, and/or U.N. concerns for non-totalitarian government.
