For Ryan.....

Postby Harry Canyon » Wed Jun 09, 2004 1:13 pm

I was having trouble with my computer. So I called Ryan the computer guy, to come over. Ryan clicked a couple of buttons and solved the problem. He gave me a bill for a minimum service call.

As he was walking away, I called after him, "So, what was wrong?

He replied, "It was an ID ten T error."

I didn't want to appear stupid, but nonetheless inquired, "An, ID ten T error? What's that, in case I need to fix it again?"

The computer guy grinned.... "Haven't you ever heard of an ID ten T error before?"

"No," I replied.

"Write it down," he said, "and I think you'll figure it out."

So I wrote out .......... I D 1 0 T

:(

I use to like Ryan

Thats great I can use that at the office, the other day i had a person that couldn't select a single email, instead they would keep selecting more each time.....turned out they had a small stack of papers they were working on holding down the shift key I think that would fit the ID ten T error :D

We used to use that all the time in the military.

"Go fill out a form ID 10 Tango"

amongst other military tricks.

Always a good one:D
