To add to the 2 of you guys who had family in WWII on the German side. My grandfather was military police. He was there when Hitler and Eva commited suicide. Unfortunately when my grandfather died my grandmother not knowing what the collection my grandfather had meant she sold it to a "church" friend who completely scammed her. We had the flag that hung over the bunker, a letter opener with his monogram and fingerprints, the pins off of his uniform he was wearing and several other personal effects. This so called church friend walked away with all of that for a measly $400 bucks. We all yelled at her and told her she should have given it to a museum but she was clueless.

 Ugh, those kind of stories break my heart. Whenever I hear about someone getting scammed in that manner, it makes me. Atleast you still have the story.
