Its possible, its called Strafe jumping. Takes a lot of practice, perfect timing and precise accuracy. I have people in my clan who can do it.

@ Micho: yes, I think you can make it in 3 jumps from the forward bunker
@ PL-Master: If you jump on a platform/ground from a certain hight, hold sprint and w & d (forward & sideways) and move your mouse smoothly, you can jump further and faster.

I've almost made it in three jumps to the water, but those stupid metal things get in the way half the time. Go on top of the bunker sprint slide then jump, jump, jump, and your there. You can also go from the upper bunker, don't go down the ladder, slide down from the ledge keep sliding to the fence, jump the fence, and strafe the beach to sniper hill.

Yes it is possible to make it to the beach quickly using the sprint-jump. Done it myself. Don't know about 3 jumps though, maybe 4 is an easier number to get.

I strafe jump all the time, I'm sure you see me guys on the beach on the walls, on someone's head and jumping down the steps, my controls are arrows up is forward, down is backup and light and right arrows are my strafe keys and my second mouse button is my jump I do it all game everygame, ever wonder why its harder to hit me sometimes, because I'm strafe jumping over u and above NICE!!!!!!!!!!!

Btw: you don't have to be ON the forward bunker to strafe to the sea in 3/4 steps.
You can slso make it from the doorway.

The best way to get to the beach from the forward bunker, in my opinion is to:

Get on top of the forward bunker, jump onto the hill(on the side of the mountain) and keep sprint-jumping towards the beach, make sure you are jumping down the hill so you can pick up some speed.

where do i find this "wolf 101"?:lol:

actually i have never known about strafe jumping till this thread (or maybe i just never noticed the difference). But i did see a lot of people trying/doing it today, maybe i'll join them.

i have sorta been doing it all along but i only do a half strafe jump! where i just strafe one way instead of going left right left right! i am picking it up quite quickly!

also i am making a config file that help by linking the buttons together! i might make it public for all to play with! if it doesn't suck ass!:lol:
