Um, that was pre-USA. What happened then, laws, beleifs, etc has no barring on this countries laws. This country was formed with numnerous things in mind, and one of those is religion. Seperation os church and state was establised so that the government would not favor one specific religion. There for, the bold statement that we were founded on the Christian religion has no standing.
