Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

Umm, point us in the direction to where we can find the dedicated server files and we will. As of now, they aren't even released I believe.

There are no dedicated server files, stand alone at least.

You have to run it from the client install. They are working on Win32 dedicated and linux servers, or so they say.

We should have a server up tomorrow.

for anyone here who has played farcry multiplayer--how is it?

the single player demos were pretty fun, though not sure how I'd like the MP if it's much the same

Played almost trough the Single player missions. I must say that that the game is innovative because you can choose how to reach your target/destination: Rambo style, sneaking and hiding, etc and you can adapt your weapons loadout according. Also on many (but not all) maps you can choose different ways to reach destination. If you add deformable terrain, ability to hide in bushes/grass, ability to distract enemies, use thermal goggles, and so on you get an intense gaming experience.

They are already working on MODs for the game, which can only be a good sign.
