Violence in videogames BANNED!

As the broadcast indecency bill caught major headlines around the country, a smaller, less-publicized bill was signed into law this morning banning violence in all forms of video games.

"All games henceforth shall be produced featuring 0% violent content. Current games on the market will be removed from shelves, those copies in the hands of private owners are now contraband.", states senator Joseph Lieberman.

This move constitutes the latest blow by the federal government to limit the exposure of indecent and violent material to children.

The video game publisher's association is in the process of filing for an injunction against the new measures.
