Weed Yes/no
- {CN}Doomfarer
Heh, I have never felt cool and daring. I feel guilt, and fear. It's illegal here, and while if I am busted I personally will not get hit hard. For those I live with... Not good. Fear, I have lived with the fear that I could possibly become addicted to some of the meds I take, and watch out for it most keenly. And I will tell you now, I am addicted to not hurting anymore. And marijuana is the only thing that has let me experience that while still being able to stay awake... That scares me, mental addiction just sitting there waving a big hand at me. I talk about it, because it helps release some of the fear and guilt. As if by saying, "I don't do this for recreation." I can ward away those feelings.

Maybe my last remarks were a little vauge for you poor confused weedheads
I was reffering to the weed smokers who constantly tell ppl they smoke it......
Not the ppl who simply smoke it, or just tell ppl when asked.
Hey everybody!! I smoke weed, aint I cool!!
You know the ones I mean. And yes, most of them have the mental age of 14.

Kool and daring:lol: Yeah maybe when your in highschool and your surrounded by all the other kids! Hash for me is a spiritual thing. Don't you listen to Bob? Lol I haven't listen to him in years. Anyway I feel I really connect with the people around me when Im high. Yet Im a serious person sometimes. Hash is really different from weed even the weed I smoked In Amsterdam, it just is. You would have to smoke it and see I guess. I've smoked hydro here and it still proves to be the best here in the US. Nothing at all compared to the hash in Holland though.
Anyway I don't have kids they are too much responsibility. Cute yeah but no! I've always ask myself that question would I allow my kids to smoke weed? The thing is you can't really control them and there going to get into alot of stuff anyway. Weed is harmless....besides med reasons the worst it can do is make you unmotivated. So I don't know. I probably say yes unless it negatively becomes a problem. Some people can handle it better than others. Some can hold a job and some wont. Some lose all motivation and some keep going. So it really all depends on the person. Also If I had kids I would prefer not to smoke around them. Especially when there younger.
I love this guy!
Oh and I heard about England and the coffee shops. Your so lucky! I wanna see them again...

I wasn't directing any sort of judgement before dragon fart, starlite merely got me started on a good point for us all to consider. If you smoke to get totally wired, then going to harder stuff is much easier. But I think the vast majority of us smoke for pleasure and relaxation. So play it cool, you can't smoke reality away, so why try? just get nicely toasted so reality doesn't seem as bad
I smoke regularly and I'm not about to pass judgment on anyone
happy trails to all.

To answer the question, NO! I have never smoked weed and never will.
WHAT !!! ! !
lol
sorry sombody lied to your ass
Ive been to friends funerals that died from just about everything else(including alcohol ). NOT ONE OF THEM WEED RELATED. Unless the shit he smoked was lassed with parquat then thats not posible. He woulda been smoking pesticide.Grow your own its not that hard Trust your connections, and KNOW YOUR WEED. if it looks like shit smells like shit its gonna taste like shit. If it looks like green sugar on a stick.

"Marijuana is an addictive drug which produces in its users insanity, criminality, and death."
Ive never experenced any of this with Marijuana in 15 years of smoking. Its the "hard" drugs that produce these affects. By law there is a different classifaction for "soft" drugs. So there is a difference seen even in the law makers eyes.
I can continue on forever about Genesis 1:11-12. Back in the late 1800's Everyone smoked marijuana. It was not controversial, it was the norm. How Prohibition is not the answeer and decriminalized is .. . . . . ..
The bottom line is people are going to do what they want(hopefully within moral limits) even if the law states you cannot (like murder it still happens). The federal government at war with its own citizens. Arent the people soposed to run the goverment ( FOR THE PEOPLE BY THE PEOPLE ) not the other way around.
Never the less . . .
with deepest sincerity
i am sorry for your loss.

Actually it's quite possible. In a new user, marijuana causes a significant increases in heart rate. If one were to have an underlying heart condition (which they may be unaware of) this could result in angina or a heart attack. Tolerance to this effect develops rapidly so chronic users are usually unaware of the effect. We must be careful in assuming that because we have never personally seen something it does not exist.

I had kinda hippy parents, so I grew up around the stuff. Never saw anything terrible. I'm only 30, have used on and off for over 25 years (yes, sounds unbelievable). I believe this gives me a somewhat unique perspective.
It may have already been said:
The ridiculous anti-pot ads are insulting. I believe that when people realize they were lied to about pot, they think the other stuff were big lies as well. This is the only way it seems to prove the gateway theory.
When I was in elementary school, we were visited by anti-pot crusader David Toma. He tried to feed us stories about people so wasted on pot (nothing else mentioned) that they tried to bake their children in ovens. I was only 12 and knew this was bullshit, but couldn't tell any of my friends. It was kind of my Clark Kent secret.
If I wanted something different I'd just drink a few beers and throw up and then wake up in pain. That's a thrill that some people never get enough of.
The latest commercials: "1 in 3 reckless drivers tested positive for marijuana"...........so, the driver may have smoked 3 weeks ago and that was the cause of the accident? Give me a break...How many tested positive for talking on cell phone or eating a cheeseburger or just being a dumbass?

Ach! Baby, the other, Other white meat!
Seriously though, in all my years around the stuff, I have never once seen any violence due to it's usage. To the contrary, I have seen people who have fought and hated each other for years settle in peace when they have been "wasted" and met each other on the street.
Can we say the same of other substances?
Alcohol? I have seen someone kicked to death outside a bar by drunks and suffered painful injuries myself as I tried to intervene. Had they all been on weed, no one would have been hurt. They would have cleared the nearest corner store clean of chips though.
This debate has gone on for decades and you will find it in forums everywhere, to be honest, if my kids were smoking weed, I'd be more concerned by the tobacco they were mixing it with.
Do not legalize it, but De- Criminalise it, meaning no public smoking of weed, but legally grow it and smoke it in the privacy of your own home. And set an age limit of 21 (just to please the liberals) as if anyone under 21 is gonna be stopped by that

so your saying if this guy was riding a bike , joging, playing basketball he woulda died also ? sounds like he was gonna die anyway if thats the case. If your heart cant handle a higher rate. . . . . .
i donno maybe im just high
so everyone be aware , smoke pot at your own risk. Play football ride in your car dancing all can be a very dangerous so do these without getting an elevated heart rate or death can occur.
