ya the d00d has issues, isnt he really young tho like 13?

Mon May 10, 2004 2:58 pm

Yes he is very young. He comes from Brussel >> Belgium and only speaks French so he doesnt understand English very well.

Mon May 10, 2004 3:17 pm

Next time he's on and you try to tell him something he doesnt understand, ask me to traduce what you wanna say. French is my 1st language.

Mon May 10, 2004 4:39 pm

Is It Difficult for him to understand the word.....
NO YOU CAN¨T

It is not difficult to know what it does mean

Mon May 10, 2004 5:36 pm

Yeah, if it's what you told him well he's just stupid.

Tue May 11, 2004 12:59 pm

Sure he understands that amaryl but the guy is very young and tends to be a little pushy..

Tue May 11, 2004 1:43 pm

That is what I told him after bubba, shala and any other member of s.s. told him NO, dont ask again!", I told him 20 - 30 times.
I don´t know if you guys what would think, but In my own opinion, if someone tell me ......NO...... 30 times I am really sure that is not the clan that will let me join them

Tue May 11, 2004 2:28 pm

The guys play a lot better now as he's been trying to impress various clan members he's worth recuiting.

Gotta respect that.

But he's still one of those guys that tend to stand above or near you while you yell for a medic, then he runs away. And he's the medic :P

Thats why I tell you the kid is young.. he doesnt understand. He's looking at all those good clans and whant's to be a part of it but cant, so he keeps asking like a kid untill he gets in one..

Its rude to ask to be in a clan imo. You should be asked by the clan, not visa versa.

That way you don't put them in an awkward possition of having so say 'no' or feeling like they have to say 'maybe' just because they don't want to be asses. Let them ask on their own terms. Clans are allways looking for good players.

If you just play well, have a good time and don't act like to big of a shmuck, a clan will most likely find you.

I disagree. If the clan is invite only, then yea, asking is stupid. Asking multiple times is stupid. But sometimes clans don't know you want to join them, so asking is the only way to let them know. There is no awkwardness in saying "no" unless you are buds with each other. In fact, its probably a reassuring sign when they know that people are interested in joining. And clans are not always looking for good players, sometimes they feel their numbers are good enough and just aren't looking for any more players. Then they could answer "no, we are not recruiting at the moment." Problem solved.

Also, the same could be said for the reverse. Is it awkward if a clan asks someone if they want to join, and the person says no? Nope.

Well... Heart and Nofx both have very good points. I agree with both...... so I'm fenced on the issue.

I also agree, it's a double edged sword.

There is also a difference between mentioning to a freind of yours, that is in a clan that you might be interested in joining, and coming right out and asking someone you don't know very well about become a member.
