A 26 year old, non military american had his head SAWED off while he screamed, as they chanted "god is the greatest."

He was over there helping them rebuild their communications infrastructure, driving trucks full of equipment.

I'm sorry....but I've really had it with that part of the world.....this kind of thing just gets me way down deep....American or not, I would feel the same way if it was a spanish citizen ect....

I saw the actual video, and have lost my appetite for my dinner, as well as felt anger I've never felt before....I suggest you don't watch it unless you can really take it.....

i just saw it. its kind of small. i just wasn't too sure. it looks like the head is about to fall off when they put the guy on the ground and he isn't really fighting them too much.

besides the point. this has escalated the situation 10 fold. its time to bring out the nukes.

Hard to say how you would react to the pain, since moving would make the knife cut deeper ect......your body may respond by being still like you are scared shitless......

Lets not get into TOO much detail... although.. I saw the video myself, and was completely disgusted.

Im not even sure why I watched it.. curiosity, I suppose. If you have the slightiest feeling you won't be able to handle it, don't watch it... its easily the most grusome thing I have ever seen in my life.

A friend sent me a video of the decapitation of Daniel Perl (?)... It is a close up and VERY GRAPHIC. I only watched about 1.5 seconds and that was enough. Never did watch it again. Another friend watched the entire video and said "Yep, they cut his head completely off".

Stuff like that completely sickens me!

A handful of American Soldiers mistreat POW's and the Arab world (Whole world?) is up in arms.. yet they can mutilite/burn/decapitate CIVILIANS and it's no big thing!

Where is the JUSTICE???

Thinking we invaded Iraq for oil is a myopic view. You need to look at the big picture. We didn't invade Iraq for oil. We invaded Iraq to invade an arab nation. To show the arab world that if they mess with us, we're going to take over their countries and (god forbid) try to westernize them and bring them out of the medieval Islamic Wahhabist mindset and bring about a religious reformation in the region.

MajorFatty, we are pissed, beyond pissed. I felt homicidal for a couple of hours after seeing this. This is our human response. You should learn a little something called 'tact'
It has something to do with knowing when to get on the soapbox and talk sh*t and knowing when to STFU.
We are people who like to play games, shoot the breeze about said games, ect. We are friends (of a sort).
But, consider what would happen to you if you said this kind of thing to an American's face just after they had seen that video.
That's where tact comes in.
